Paulina Kozlowska

Communications Coordinator, Graphic Designer

I believe a user-centered approach can be applicable to everything designed for people: no matter if it’s a kettle, a web application or a legal procedure. That’s why we need more legal design thinking to solve justice problems.

Paulina proves that humanities and a creative approach to science can be combined. She holds a bachelor degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Warsaw and master of science in Media Technology from Leiden University. And on top of that, she was continuously developing her graphic design skills. Such combination proved to be useful for developing new ways of communicating about legal matters.

How? Because Paulina applies knowledge about human nature to her design work. And a good design is easy to use for people. It is also communicating the right message that we want to convey at HiiL. That is why Paulina assists her colleagues with developing user-friendly interfaces, prepares clear infographics aiming to explain legal problems or designs visuals showing how we work. She also coordinates general communication activities at HiiL.
